Acrylic & Plexiglass Restoration in South Florida.
Specialist restoration of Strataglass, Isinglass, acrylic and polycarbonate.
We safely restore clarity to enclosure panels, hatches, windshields and Corian — removing haze, micro-scratches, mildew and yellowing. Finished with the correct protectant for each material type.

About our acrylic & plexiglass restoration service
Strataglass, Isinglass, acrylic and polycarbonate windshields and enclosure panels are extremely expensive to replace and extremely easy to ruin. The wrong cleaner — Windex, ammonia, alcohol — can craze a brand-new panel in a single afternoon. The wrong polish or pad will leave them hazier than they started.
AC Detailing uses material-specific restoration kits and pads engineered for each substrate. We start with a gentle clean to remove salt and contaminants, then work through micro-abrasive polishes designed to recover optical clarity without distorting the surface. Final step is the manufacturer-approved protectant: Imar 301/302 for Strataglass, polycarbonate-safe sealants for hardtop windows, and dedicated acrylic protectants for hatches and ports.
Properly maintained, a restoration can add three to five years of life to enclosure panels that owners had already written off as needing replacement — often a five-figure savings on a single boat.

Frequently asked about acrylic & plexiglass restoration
Can you save cloudy Strataglass panels?+
Most lightly hazed and scratched panels can be brought back to clear. Severely yellowed panels with delamination usually need replacement — we'll tell you honestly during the estimate.
Why can't I just use Windex on my enclosure?+
Ammonia in glass cleaners attacks the soft coating on Strataglass and similar materials, causing permanent hazing and crazing. We use only manufacturer-approved cleaners.
How do I keep my enclosure clear after restoration?+
Rinse weekly with fresh water, dry with a dedicated soft microfiber, and re-apply Imar 302 protectant every 30–60 days. We provide a written care plan with every restoration.
